Groundbreaking for the new Mesa del Sol International School was held on March 4, 2021. The new charter school, located at Mesa del Sol south of Albuquerque, will be developed by Rachel Matthew Development.
Rachel Matthew Development has built a number of schools, including the Ask Academy in Rio Rancho and the Gordon Bernell Charter School. The Mesa del Sol Charter School will be part of the Albuquerque Public School system, serving students from grades K – 12.
